MAD Festival offers dozens of performances and activities every day. If you're having trouble navigating the schedule, we've curated a daily itinerary for you, featuring a mix of tent performances, free outdoor shows, and music.
Thursday, April 13: Opening with International Acts
- 16:30: Join the festive opening with Bruïtal and young acrobats in the Cirkelgewelf (free).
- 17:30: Outdoor performance "We Agree To Disagree" takes you on an (acrobatic) journey (free).
- 18:30: Discover new, young artists on our MAD Generation stage.
- 20:00: Immerse yourself in the underwater performance "Out of the Blue."
- 22:00: PARTY! Dance to the music of Bruïtal and DJ Joki (free).
Friday, April 14: Young Makers Showcase
- 15:00: Slapstick, dance, acrobatics, and balance art in one show: "EXIT."
- 18:30: The new generation of circus artists takes over the MAD Generation stage.
- 20:00: Intimate choreographic work? Circus trio Sinking Sideways performs "Cécile."
- 22:00: Dance along to Woo & Fast Moving Picnic + Dj Schwarzkopf (free).
Saturday, April 15: Discover Unique Works (+ Party!)
- 14:00: Embark on an acrobatic city tour with PASSING BY by circus trio Knot on Hands.
- 18:30: Physics meets magic in the powerful solo "Tout/Rien."
- 20:00: Marina Cherry showcases in "Only Bones v.1.6" how funny the animal 'human' can be through movement language.
- 21:00: Experience a mix of acrobatics, opera, and ritual in "RECLAIM."
- 22:00: Move your feet, acrobatic or not, to Brik Tu-Tok and DJ Butsenzeller (free).
Sunday, April 16: Lazy Circus Day
- 13:00 - 16:00: Go Backstage on an interactive city tour with Bad van Marie.
- 14:00: Take a beginner's trampoline lesson, starting from 6 years old.
- 16:00: Join a playful balance exercise with "Tu sens la terre bouger?" (free).
- 17:30: Outdoor performance "We Agree To Disagree" takes you on their (acrobatic) journey (free).
