MAD Generation

On the MAD Generation stage, young creators can showcase their talents to the general public. Thanks to collaborations with circus schools across Europe, we present the most captivating young acrobats, eager to take the leap into the professional circuit. This performance will consist of several short acts, skillfully tied together by Jef Kinds (CircusNext finalist for 2025). With enthousiasm, musical feel and a touch of awkward humour, he will guide the audience for a night of impressive acts.

Ella Hummel - 'M E D U S E'

Aerialist Ella Hummel has been tied up in silks and rope from a young age, but in recent years she has chosen to focus on straps. This summer she will graduate from ESAC in Brussels, where she started M E D U S E as a personal project after a few shows left her with an excess of plastic foil. The idea was born to create an act where these pieces of trash slowly transform into a new kind of beauty.

Tutti Korti

Iuna, Toni and Clarisse met during their circus studies at Châlons-en-Champagne. Led by the pleasure of transforming Cyr wheel from an individual practice into a collective game, they created their act together. They run, fall, kick and catch each other as if there was a necessity to be together no matter what. In a playful environment, wearing colored puffy jackets, they invite the audience to join them in their absurd complicity and to follow the live beat.

Nathan Glaister - 'Bila'

Bila is a coat, a tattered hat, a crooked body and a lot of dust. How does the transition between the human and inhuman, between the ugly and the beautiful, between the imperfect and the perfect, happen? Bila takes the meeting point between dance, acrobatics and clowning to give life to a bizarre and creative imagination. Join Nathan on his quest to discover what it means to be human, to be complete, taking the audience as an accomplice in his journey.

Luise Hoffman - 'What I think, they think'

What I think, they think is a captivating and mesmerizing static trapeze act that explores the complex relationship between thoughts, perceptions, and reality. Luise Hoffman uses movements on the trapeze, spoken word and humor to convey the complexity and contradiction of the human mind. With its evocative music and powerful themes, the act invites audiences to contemplate the ways in which our thoughts and beliefs shape our perceptions of the world around us.

Cul de bas

Three acrobats, three ages, one discipline. Tadeusz (16), Ruben (18) and Paul (26) differ in age range, but share their passion for bascule, a circusdiscipline which can lift you to incredible heights. The trio met in Ell Circo D'ell Fuego's training hall and has been to all previous editions of MAD Festival together. Now it's their turn to shine on stage, catapulting each other high up in the air.
