During MAD Festival, Ell Circo D'ell Fuego also hosts MAD Convention, an international circus convention where young and old, amateur and (semi)professional, can immerse themselves in various circus techniques for three days. Circus enthusiasts from all over Europe have the opportunity to hone their skills at their own level, surrounded by instructors from circus schools and colleges.

For the true daredevils, there will be Open Circus Stage at the end of each training day. Anyone who is not exhausted after a day full of workshops can showcase the new tricks they have finally mastered. Juggling with five balls for the first time or finally getting a clean landing on that double somersault: here you see the confidence of the young circus performers grow. Every trick a triumph, every risk a chance for glory. But even if something goes spectacularly wrong, expect an overwhelming applause.

Be surprised by the lineup that gets switched up every day, and admire artists who may not even have known themselves when they woke up that morning that they would be shining on the stage here!
