Tembo
Rode Boom
Maybe you've seen him galloping over the highway at 60 miles per hour. Or maybe you spotted his tiny tail wagging from the bushes. And now you can find him at MAD Festival: Tembo, a life sized savanne elephant. Watch out! Strange things are happening around the animal. Did steam just spout from his behind? Were there really two slippers dangling from his belly? Is there a light flickering in his head at night?
Some whisper there's a little girl living in his stomach. Others are convinced the elephant is part of the Great Disappearing Act of some washed up magician. Don't let yourself be fooled, but rather come pay a visit and find out for yourself. Don't forget to wipe your feet first!
Tembo is a living statue, but also houses short family shows full of stories, always with a touch of magic!
