The Odd Ones

Simon Granit Ossoinak

What does it mean to belong? With 'The Odd Ones', Simon Granit Ossoinak explores individuality and social dynamics from the perspective of the outsider. Oddness is examined in all its aspects: the ugly and unappealing along with the amazingly unique.

Three vastly different people (one acrobat, one contemporary dancer, one breakdancer) with different ways of communicating and being must slowly navigate a social and physical dance to understand, collaborate with, and perhaps even grow to enjoy the company of people that are not like themselves. The show moves in between beauty and ugliness, humor and vulnerability, with a large dose of oddness spread throughout.

From 1 to 10 April, Simon will be in MAD residency in Het Oude Badhuis, to work on the finishing touches for his show. So hurry up and get your tickets for this pre-premier of 'The Odd Ones' at MAD Festival!
