With his fascination with movement as a starting point, Mathias Goethals explores various techniques and blends them into his performances. His specialties include hand balancing and aerial straps, but he is also passionate about contemporary and acrobatic dance forms.

During his lab residency from April 12 to 17, 2021, Mathias worked on themes such as connection, purity, and fragility: how can we free ourselves from external impulses and triggers to reach the purest version of ourselves?
